Lemon and Rosemary Biscuits
This particular recipe can be varied to suit your ritual or spell.
What You Will Need;
1 sprig of fresh rosemary
90g (3oz) unsalted butter
30g (1oz) sugar
125g (1 cup) all-purpose flour
180g (6oz) icing sugar
juice from half a large lemon
2 tsp water (this might be more or less)
golden sugar to sprinkle on top
Method;
take the leaves off of the rosemary and roughly chop
cream together butter and sugar
sift together flour and icing sugar
gradually add dry ingredients to the sugar mixture
add rosemary, lemon juice, and water
blend until it forms a firm dough
roll out thinly, about 1/8 inch
cut into rounds
lay on a baking sheet and sprinkle them with sugar
bake on the middle shelf

makes a dozen (based on cutter size)
